New Blog Entry: Our Last Night in Tokyo
Gentle Reader,
A most bizarre set of circumstances, which pivot on the prevailing typhoon hitting the east coast of China, have brought us to Tokyo. We decided to forgo all the flaying around we've been doing to get from event to event.. and to just hang out on the hotel grounds. We discovered that they offer a poolside Texas BBQ here at the hotel, so away we went! We enjoyed our own personal grill at our table, grilling everything from shrim p to spicy sausage to zucchini to mushrooms. What a delightful eveing. Then we ventured up to the Pegasus Lounge to view the city lights. We are not in downtown Tokyo, but near the Narita Airprot. But the lights are lovely and alluring, and our last night in Asia carries a magic that I cannot even begin to describe. There will be poems composed soon, trying to capture this place and the journey of China. But for now, we are simply enjoying the beauty of the night...
May you, too, enjoy the beauty of wherever you happen to be. And may you have a beloved to dance with... even if it is to country music!!
Namaste,
Mei Lan
