Gentle Reader,
Another weekend was spent travelling to several ancient villages. This was the first stop on a very long and bumpy weekend... to a Dong Village. We observed many of the women gathered together working on embroidery projects. We also witnessed them working with natural dyes down by the river.
We were treated to a "country dinner," with all the food directly from the garden or the river. The Drum Tower was especially majestic and impressive as the gathering place...
